When Ferrania Technologies spun off by 3M and then from Imation, it gave us the opportunity to leave the old systems in the original companies and to design our I.C.T. (Information and Communication Technology). Thus we improved efficiency and adopted a new own solutions supported by a young and resized organization.

	A VPN based wide area network connects all our worldwide sites in a high speed Intranet. Moreover, employees, customers, outside suppliers and partners can access the company application system resources from their own Internet link. The internal capability to define and manage Virtual Private Networks led us to fully extend the border of our systems through an Internet connection, adding flexibility in managing customer and partner relationships.
