The Ferrania OptiJet RIP allows screen and offset printers to produce high quality
colour separations on a wide-range of inkjet printers using the Ferrania CS Film. Printers equipped
with inkjet systems can now avoid the expense of outsourcing separations
OptiJet RIP incorporates a collection of tools that give significant control over key screening parameters.
In order to provide maximum flexibility, the software supports both AM or FM screening methods,
and it allows images to be separated at the RIP . Among FM screening methods a proprietary "Free Spot"
technology is available with enhanced output quality.
In addition to providing colour-separation tools, OptiJet RIP is a total print management program
that allows printers to optimise inkjet printers for full-colour graphics output, supporting ICC profiles.
