Ferrania Technologies S.p.A.is a leading imaging
company with nearly eighty years of experience in the photographic field. We are manufacturing chemicals
for internal use since our beginning and in the recent years we have focused our activities developing new
chemicals for External Customers.
A Fine Chemicals Business Unit was set up to offer the production of chemicals from lab/pilot scale to
industrial scale. The chemical facility operates in compliance with ISO 9001 Vision 2000 and ISO 14001
requirements, having about 60.000 litres reactors capacity (stainless steel and glass lined).
Ferrania manufactures the following chemicals at industrial scale: Starting Materials for Pharma and
for Cosmetic, Polymers and Dyes for Imaging, Monomers and Polymers for Electronic. We have synthesised
over 30.000 different chemicals in our state-of-art R&D labs, many of them were scaled up and are in
regular production.
Present chemical reactions in manufacturing scale are: bromination, reduction, formylation, eterocyclic
compounds, acylchloride, sulphonation, vinylation, diazotation, radicalic polymerization, alkylation,
esterifications. |
