The core element
of LifeInVision™ digital radiography is the Trixell Pixium®
4600 solid state detector.
It is based on an amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel Detector (FPD)
coupled with a Thallium doped Cesium Iodide (CsI:Tl) scintillator.
This detector ensures the highest Detective Quantum Efficiency
available today (DQE > 60% @ 0.5 cycles/mm @ RQA 5), superior
spatial resolution (3.5 cycles/mm) and dynamic resolution
(14 bits).
9 million pixels in a 43x43-cm (17x17-inch)
area and 143 µm pixel pitch ensure the highest image quality over
the full range of general radiography exams.
