Ferrania Chemicals develops chemical products from lab/pilot scale to industrial scale. It operates in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001-2018 requirements in a facility featuring 60.000 litres  total reactor capacity (stainless steel and glass lined).   

Ferrania Chemicals manufactures: Starting Materials for Pharmacetical and for Cosmetic industries, Polymers and Dyes for Imaging, Fluorescent Dyes for Molecular Imaging, Monomers, Polymers and Resins for Electronics.

We have synthesised over 30.000 different chemicals in our state-of-the-art R&D labs, many of them were scaled up and are in regular production. 

Chemical reactions performed in our manufacturing plant include: bromination, reduction, formylation, synthesis of eterocyclic compounds, acylchlorination, sulphonation, vinylation, diazotation, radicalic polymerization, alkylation, esterifications.
